Family Law Attorney Serving Springfield
A native of Springfield, Missouri, Joe graduated from Kickapoo High School in 1983 before earning both his undergraduate degree and Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri. After graduating from law school in 1990, he began his legal career practicing in Kansas City and Southern California, working within highly competitive legal markets before returning home to Springfield in 2000.
Joe is a member of both the Missouri Bar and the State Bar of California. Over his decades of practice, he has handled diverse cases in the fields of family law, general civil litigation, personal injury, insurance defense, business law, and consumer law. This extensive and varied background provides him with deep legal insight and a unique ability to anticipate and resolve the complex, overlapping issues that often arise in litigation.
Today, Joe focuses a significant portion of his practice on family law, leveraging his broad litigation background to advocate for his clients. He regularly represents individuals in divorces, legal separations, paternity and custody disputes, adoptions, minor guardianships, and name changes. Joe is deeply committed to helping families navigate these challenging times with sound, strategic legal advice and compassionate guidance.
